When lifting we should know the classic lifting techniques. For example, having the object close to you, make sure it’s balanced, try not to lift in an awkward position, don’t lift when fatigued, etc.
A study from Australia showed that being distracted can increase the risk of injury a lot more than missing one or two of the above.
